What part does Covance play in the development of new drugs?
As a contract research organization (CRO), we conduct clinical studies on behalf of pharmaceutical companies. We work on newly developed pharmaceutical compounds, new formulations of long-established medications as well as over-the-counter products. Our studies assess the safety and tolerability of the test drugs when given to healthy, human volunteers in a controlled clinic environment.
