What is the food like?
All meals are freshly prepared on site, are provided throughout your stay and are free. For research control purposes volunteers on the same study will receive the same food, therefore we cannot accept volunteers who have food allergies, are vegetarian or have to follow a diet regime for religious purposes. There may be some specific dietary requirements or restrictions that you must follow whilst on the study. However, these will be explained to you at the screening visit. Tea and coffee are generally restricted, as are drinks containing grapefruit or quinine. As our studies need to be scientifically controlled in order to obtain the best results, you will not be allowed to bring any food, drink or sweets into the Clinic. |
