Frequently Asked Questions

What will happen to me on a study?

You will be asked to check into the Unit and provide us with blood and urine samples to make sure there have been no changes since the screening visit and ensure there are no drugs present in your urine.

On the first dosing day of the study you will receive the study medication and we will then take blood and urine samples to measure the speed at which the medication enters the bloodstream and subsequently leaves the body. We will measure and monitor the effect the drug has on your body by obtaining frequent measurements of your blood pressure, pulse and ECG. It may be necessary to perform other tests or procedures and these will be explained to you at the screening visit during the Informed Consent process.

You will be continually monitored throughout your stay by our highly trained multi-professional team of doctors, nurses and technicians.
